Our story
We at Procano have been providing IT services and support to hundreds of small and medium-sized enterprises across the Nordics since our inception in 2003.
2009
Procano is established and signs its first agreement with STX Europe ASA, a leading shipyard actor with 18 shipyards and 22,000 employees in 8 countries. The agreement marks the beginning of Procano as a provider of IT services to large industrial companies.
2012
Procano takes over 13 employees after the bankruptcy of IT4You AS and ensures continued operations for several hundred customers. The acquisition strengthens the company's expertise and capacity in IT operations and support.
2014
Procano acquires and merges with Instant Office AS, strengthening the company's IT services. At the same time, the sister company Procori SMC is established in Norway and Sweden, focusing on IT Service Management.
2016
Procano is acquiring and merging with Simpleo AS, thereby strengthening its position as a leading IT partner for small and medium-sized enterprises. At the same time, Procano celebrates being a Gazelle company for the 7th consecutive year – a clear proof of steady and healthy growth over time.
2018
Procano is acquiring and merging with MakeIt. They bring valuable expertise and solid customer relationships, which will contribute to providing even better services and support to Procano's customers.
2020
Procano launches Secure Workplace, a solution designed to provide safety in the everyday life of small and medium-sized businesses. The same year, Procano is named the winner of Cisco Managed Services Partner of the Year.
2021
Procano is opening a new office in downtown Porsgrunn, as a strategic step to strengthen its presence in the region and improve accessibility for customers in the area.
2022
Procano implements Netsecurity as a central part of its service offerings. This enables Procano to provide even more comprehensive and tailored security solutions to its customers.
2023
Procano is named the winner of the Pax8 EMEA Security Partner of the Year, an acknowledgment of the company's outstanding work in IT security and their ability to deliver innovative solutions that protect customers against modern threats.
